Forum Übersicht - 2.7. Andere Mails » Neue Masche oder echte Warnung?

Ich hatte heute 3 Mails in meinem nagelneuen Postfach. 2 Scam Mails und eine Warnung, das das alles Fake ist. Ist das ne neue Masche oder sollte da jemand wirklich warnen wollen? Ob ich mich mal auf den Warnenden einlasse und schaue ob der vielleicht auch ein paar Kröten für seine Bemühungen will?

Ich hab mit King ein wenig gemailt. Er will tatsächlich nur warnen. Also keine neue Masche. Ich sollte ein bischen weniger paranoid sein glaub ich.

Da wäre ich mir nicht so sicher. Es stellt sich die Frage nach dem Sinn des Ganzen - der bleibt mir bisher noch verschlossen. Außerdem ist da noch der zeitliche Zusammenhang. Zwei Scam-Mails und eine Warnung am selben Tag. Woher weiß King eigentlich, dass Du die beiden Scam-Mails aufgefangen hast?

HopSing, kanst Du auch mal die Korresponenz mit dem King hier einstellen? Vielleicht ist da etwas erkennbar. Ich bleibe nach wie vor skeptisch.

Der Typ gehört meines Erachtens dazu. Dafür sprechen drei Dinge:

1. Wie bereits erwähnt, die Zeitgleichheit aller drei Mails.

2. Die blöde Bemerkung "don't reply his/her email, unless your a baiter/scameater/a person with to much free time " , die ja ziemlich abwertend klingt.

3. Scheint dies eine völlig neue Masche zu sein, um Dein Vertrauen zu gewinnen, denn ich selbst habe folgende Email am 11. August 2009 erhalten, nur bislang noch nicht hier veröffentlicht, da der gesamte Dialog noch läuft. Lies Dir das mal durch:

Hier weiß ich definitiv, daß dieser Wohltäter ein Fake ist, denn ich hatte meinem eigentlichen Gesprächspartner aus Nigeria Tage vorher berichtet, daß mich jemand aus Burkina Faso kontaktiert hat (was aber gar nicht stimmte), der von mir Geld wollte. Da hatte der Mugu wohl Angst um seine eigene Knete und schickte mir diesen Wohltäter auf den Hals. Also, grundsätzlich traue ich keinerlei fremden Mail, und man kann mal wieder eines sehen: Diese Kerle sitzen überall...

Soweit ich das richtig sehe, schickt er die Warnung an alle Empfänger der Mail. Adressen scheint er aus dem Header "CC" zu haben

Versteht sich von selbst. Ich surfe meist über einen Proxy. Muß ja nicht jeder gleich wissen, das ich aus Övelgönne bei Berchdesgaden komme

Sorry, ich hab nochmal nachgeschaut: Die Mails kamen nicht zeitgleich an. Sie wurden nur in einem Ordner angezeigt. Googlemail find ich etwas unübersichtlich. Schicke ich aber eine Mail von Thunderbird, z.B., wird meine IP übertragen und nicht die vom Google Server.

Ich hab mich mit der ganzen Sache mal vertrauensvoll per PM an Schumbo gewandt. Der wird die Erkenntnisse prüfen und dann bescheid sagen, denk ich mal

I received a scam email, but instead this scammer (what we called "Lad") send trough CC instead of BCC
so in that case i just warn the people who get this scam email.
a lot of baiters answer it, so did Hopsing.

I know every day they try something new, i found this thread, and i just want to make sure this would be set right

I saw their asking about the first 3 emails, which i give you to prove that i wrote those messages

what a nice surprise - welcome to our forum! Your mail to HopSing caused a kind of helplessness... we didn't know what to think about the king. We know that some scammers (we call them "mugu") pretend to be a member of the EFCC. They contact the victims of advance fee scam and offer their help to retrieve the money sent to Nigeria. So I advised HopSing to be careful.

Like i said every day they find a new way to scam people, i wonder how long it takes before i get a message that i'm in the will of late Patrick Swayze. I got a lot of those scam agains scam like you described, I never did bait that one

Yes, I received all PMs. I didn't read it all yet, but I think that I have understood the matter.
You had a great idea and you set a good example. Sometimes I receive mugu mails containing a never ending CC-list. Next time I will send a warning to all recipients too.
